Dr. Amanda Slaughter Ed.D., LPC, N.C.C., RPT (Dr. Amanda)
is a Child Behavioral Specialist. She holds a
Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Sarasota Florida.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia, is
certified through the NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors) as a
National Certified Counselor and is an RPT (Registered Play Therapist). She
has conducted research at the Georgia Association of Play Therapy regarding
theoretical orientations used in the field of Play Therapy. She is a
distinguished Senior Professor in the Bachelors Psychology Program at Argosy
University. Additionally, Dr. Amanda teaches in the Masters Counseling
Program at Argosy University. She has several years of experience working
with children ages 4 and up. If you are searching for a Child Therapist who

Lori Holbrook M.A., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC) with a specialty in Christian Counseling. She has extensive experience
in individual, family and group counseling modalities with adolescents,
adults, couples and families. She received her Master of Arts degree in
Psychology from West Georgia College & State University. Lori is a
distinguished Professor at Argosy University in the Counseling Program as an
Intern/Practicum Instructor for Masters level beginning counselors. She
provides supervision to beginning level counselors on a frequent basis. Lori
sees the family as the "expert" of themselves and she is the facilitator to
move the family towards their goals. Lori offers an optional Christian
perspective to all of her clients as an enhanced treatment modality. Lori
truly is a wonderful Counselor and cares deeply for her clients.
Erin Pridgen M.S.,
LAPC, N.C.C.
is an Associate Level Counselor with a Master's degree in
Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. She is currently working towards her
state licensure and as an RPT (
Registered Play Therapist ) training under Dr.
Amanda. Erin is extremely passionate about working with children,
adolescents and their families. We are so blessed to
have her.
Melissa Sulhoff M.S.,
LAPC, N.C.C.
is an Associate Level Counselor with experience in individual and group therapy
for adolescents and adults. She is currently undergoing the application process
to become a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia.
She completed her Master’s of Science degree in Community Counseling at North
Georgia College and State University. Melissa is also a member of the Licensed
Professional Counselors Association of Georgia and the American Counseling
Association. Melissa is wonderful and we are so excited to
have her on board.
