About Me

Brittany is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Licensed Professional Music Therapist with over 5 years clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Music from Brooklyn College and a Dual master’s in Music Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Immaculata University. Brittany is a Board-Certified music therapist, often using music as a form of creative expression in her sessions. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship conflicts and mediation, crisis management, grief and loss, and trauma-informed care. Brittany’s counseling approach is humanistic, collaborative and based on creative expression, acceptance, safety, and nonjudgment. Common models of treatment used include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy. She is also a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, American Counseling Association, and the American Music Therapy Association. Her passion is in working with individuals and families to address concerns that impacts quality of life and personal growth. Brittany is currently supervised by Dr. Susanne Thurber Ph.D., LPC, CPCS.
