About Me
Claire received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans, La, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has lived in Atlanta for the past 6 years and worked in a variety of mental health settings.
Claire strives to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment in which her clients feel comfortable to share their unique experiences. She has a passion for working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, as they journey through increased self-awareness and identity formation, healing from childhood wounds and trauma, working through grief, spiritual formation, and navigating interpersonal struggles. She also emphasizes increased insight into emotional regulation, the power of self-compassion, and desires to reflect the beauty of each client back to themselves. She utilizes a collaborative, holistic approach in order to empower clients to identify needs, set goals, and gain practical skills that allow them to create and live the lives they desire. She emphasizes healing as a journey rather than a destination.
When not at work, you can find Claire traveling; she has been to several countries and states (and most recently traveled to Alaska), playing tennis, hiking with friends, playing piano, and making too many references to Louisiana, where she was born. She is under the supervision of Lanier Meeks Yi.
