About Me
Cristina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Masters in Social Work degree from Barry University. Cristina is licensed in Georgia and Florida. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship conflicts and mediation, crisis management, grief and loss, and trauma resulting from physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse. Cristina uses an Integrated Approach in therapy using models of treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is passionate about helping and empowering others with an emphasis on one’s ability to be resilient despite obstacles and hardships.
