Brent Sattelmeier

About Me

Brent is a graduate of Brenau University’s Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology program. He also earned a specialization in Applied Psychological Teaching. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Tech. Brent is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor and is working toward earning his Licensed Professional Counselor credential. Brent believes in working to improve the lives of people from
all backgrounds and walks of life. He has experience working with both neurotypical and
neurodivergent adults, families, couples, and adolescents to address challenges including
eating disorders, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Brent’s therapeutic
approach blends empirically validated modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, traditional talk therapy, skill building, and humanistic approaches as best suited to the needs of the client. Brent is prepared to work collaboratively and holistically to help clients overcome challenges, enhance existing strengths, and intentionally build a purpose-driven life.
Brent is under the supervision of Lauren Greenway, LPC, CPCS, MAC, CEDS-C.
