Mandy is pursuing her Master of Behavioral Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, showcasing her commitment to advancing her expertise in the mental health field. A dedicated professional passionate about mental health and educating young minds, Mandy has embarked on a fulfilling journey in both realms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, highlighting her solid foundation in teaching methodologies. Mandy’s commitment to fostering enriching learning environments is evident in her decade-long experience as an educator in the Orange County public school system in Orlando, Florida.

Mandy’s unique blend of teaching experience and her commitment to ongoing counseling education uniquely position her to comprehend and tackle the challenges faced by today's youth. Her dedication to staying current with counseling practices reflects a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of mental health. With a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults, Mandy brings theoretical knowledge and a genuine connection to the experiences and concerns of this demographic. This combination equips her to effectively contribute to mental health outreach initiatives, fostering a supportive environment for the well-being of young individuals.

Mandy holds membership in the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCAGA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Additionally, she is a member of the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society and the Rho Eta Student Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota International Counseling Honor Society, highlighting her academic excellence and dedication to the counseling profession. Mandy is actively working towards attaining licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) following her graduation. Mandy is supervised by Cristina Lorenz-Hensen.
