Christy Hertzler MA

Christy is currently a graduate student at Liberty University and is pursuing an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She has previously taught in the early childhood setting for over 20 years.  She has a BA in Liberal Studies- Elementary Education from California State University, Long Beach.  Once graduated Christy plans on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  Her passion is working with children, adolescents, and families.  Christy hopes to support individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues and emotional trauma.  It is her passion to create an environment where individuals can feel comfortable and grow into their purpose.  She looks forward to becoming a certified play therapist and will be working under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter.
