My Story
Dakara received her Master’s in Human Service Counseling as well as a School Counselor degree from Liberty University. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Old Dominion University. She has been serving the community for many years working with many government agencies and schools. Dakara has had the opportunity of working with many families through her experience at The GA Mentor Group as a Clinical Coordinator, The Department of Early Care and Learning as well as DFCS. Her experience working with children & their families has given her a broader perspective of how family dynamics can impact each member of a family. She is very passionate about helping one to learn more about themselves so that they can obtain that inner peace and joy. She enjoys working with children, teens, young adults, and families. She also enjoys working with children and families of diverse backgrounds.
