Ashley Renee Scott, MS
Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling

About Me

Hello, I’m Ashley Scott, a family counseling intern with over three years of experience providing direct care to individuals with various psychological disorders ranging from autism, ADHD to schizophrenia and addiction. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in addiction counseling from the Albany State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University.

My counseling stance is rooted in the holistic individual. I believe in understanding the entire person from work, life, emotions etc. When we look at everything, we can properly balance in a more positive manner. With my time as a vocational counselor, I am aware of how disabilities, whether physical or psychological, can take a toll on an individual’s life.

Under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter, I am expanding my clinical experience to serve a variation of clients ranging from all ages with compassion and evidence-based care. I am under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS
