About Me

Kelly Kennedy is a passionate and empathetic mental health clinician committed to helping adolescents and young adults navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, resilience, and purpose. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Young Harris College, where her interest in emotional development and interpersonal connection first took root. She later obtained her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana Monroe, where she deepened her clinical training and cultivated a personalized, values-driven approach to therapy. Kelly’s work is grounded in a holistic, client centered framework, combining elements of Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused techniques, Strength-Based interventions, and Mindfulness practices. She meets clients where they are—with curiosity, compassion, and flexibility—holding space for them to process difficult emotions, heal from past wounds, and explore their unique identities. Drawing from an eclectic therapeutic perspective, Kelly adapts her approach to each individual, honoring the complexity of lived experience and recognizing the importance of nurturing emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. In her clinical work, Kelly supports clients in addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, and spiritual growth. She believes in the transformative power of authenticity, and strives to help clients reconnect with their inner voice, align with their values, and feel more at home in themselves. Kelly is currently under the supervision of Lauren Greenway, LPC, CPCS, MAC, CEDS-C.
