Licensed Master's Social Worker

Focus: Adults, Anxiety, Life Transitions

Rachel earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia, where she focused on supporting children and families through both research with the Head Start program and hands-on fieldwork in the school setting. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and encouraged. Rachel uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help individuals work through challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward positive change.
In addition to her clinical work, Rachel has experience working with women in a spiritual mentoring capacity, offering support, encouragement, and guidance through meaningful one-on-one relationships. This background has given her a deeper understanding of resilience, personal growth, and the importance of compassionate support. Rachel’s approach is warm, thoughtful, and holistic, and she is committed to walking alongside clients as they pursue healing, growth, and lasting change.
Rachel is under the supervision of Cristina Lorenz-Hansen and Lauren Greenway.
