Amelia Emigh Counseling Intern

Amelia Emigh is an empathetic and nonjudgmental counseling intern. She is passionate about helping adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Child Advocacy at Kennesaw State University. Currently, she is completing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) based on each client’s needs. She is dedicated to providing culturally competent care. Her goal is to create a safe, warm, and collaborative environment where clients feel supported and empowered in their journey toward growth and healing. Amelia is supervised by Cristina Lorenz-Hansen MSW, LCSW, CFCS.
