About Me
Chantal Mirza, MSW, PMH-C, earned her Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University and is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and healing processes.
Chantal takes a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to counseling. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build on their existing strengths. Her clinical interests include child and adolescent development, family dynamics, attachment, trauma, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, parenting, and strengthening emotional connections within families.
Her background includes facilitating psychoeducational groups and supporting individuals in substance use and mental health treatment settings. She incorporates approaches such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral strategies, strengths-based care, and family systems perspectives, tailoring her approach to the unique needs of each client.
Chantal is certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and as a Birth Story Listener, with a special passion for supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, birth trauma, parenting stress, and major life transitions. She believes every client brings unique strengths, insight, and resilience to the counseling process and values creating a space where those strengths can be recognized and developed.
