About Me

Hello, I am Piper Sandes, a family counseling intern with 4+ years of experience providing direct care for those diagnosed with Autism and other neurological diagnoses. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama, graduating in 2020. Currently, I am completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. My approach combines psychodynamic techniques with a commitment to genuineness, authenticity, and ethical practice. I create tailored interventions to address each person’s unique needs while fostering growth and development. I am passionate about helping families navigate developmental and emotional challenges, and my skills to serve a broader range of clients. Thank you for considering me as part of your family's support system. I look forward to working with you. Piper is under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS.
