George Rebing MA, APC

About Me

George earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2015 and worked as a correctional counselor, gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and rehabilitation. In 2021, he pursued his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College, graduating in 2024.

He specializes in working with young and middle adults, couples, and families facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, relationship issues, attachment concerns, and life transitions. He also has a strong background in substance abuse treatment and supporting individuals through acculturation stress and adaptation issues.

With extensive experience in mental health, education, and behavioral health settings, George is passionate about helping clients gain insight, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. As an EMDR-trained therapist, he is dedicated to guiding individuals through trauma processing and overcoming unhelpful thought patterns.

George provides a compassionate, culturally competent approach, ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and empowered on their healing journey. George is under the supervision of Lauren Greenway, LPC, CPCS, Mac, CEDS-C.
