About Me

She also has had previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant, where she had the opportunity to provide practical and compassionate care for geriatric clients.
Susana is passionate about caring for mental health and is driven to help people. She desires to draw from multiple approaches to best fit her clients’ needs, especially from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Susana takes an empathetic and collaborative approach to counseling and desires to create a safe, supportive space to help her clients explore their inner world and process concerns, emotions, and other challenges. Susana is currently under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter, Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS.
