About Me
With a rich background rooted in both professional training and personal experience, Patricia brings a compassionate and holistic approach to mental health counseling. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University in 2024, building upon a longstanding foundation established through her Bachelor of Arts in Theology and minor in Psychology from Franciscan University in 1989.
Over the course of more than three decades as a wife, mother, and informal family palliative caregiver, she has developed a deep understanding of the human experience. These roles have profoundly shaped her counseling perspective, fostering a strengths-based approach that empowers clients to access their innate resilience and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
In her clinical work, Patricia thoughtfully integrates Adlerian therapeutic modalities to create a nurturing and respectful environment that fosters healing and growth. She earned her Advanced Adlerian Play Therapy Certification in 2024 and is currently under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter as she works toward full licensure in Play Therapy. Patricia is also an active member of the American Counseling Association.
