About Me

Angel Gordon is a compassionate and dedicated clinician who specializes in helping couples, families, and individuals build stronger, healthier relationships. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado Christian University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Art from Georgia State University. Her training blends clinical expertise with creativity, allowing her to create a warm, safe, and engaging space where clients feel understood and supported.

Angel’s approach is deeply rooted in systems theory, which emphasizes that people do not exist in isolation but are shaped by the relationships and environments around them. Whether working with an individual, couple, or family, she looks beyond surface-level symptoms to explore the larger dynamics at play—patterns of interaction, unspoken expectations, and generational influences that often keep people feeling “stuck.” This holistic lens helps clients recognize how each person’s well-being impacts the entire system, making long-term healing and growth more sustainable.

Clients who work with Angel benefit from this perspective because change is not just about coping with problems in the moment—it’s about creating new, healthier ways of relating that ripple outward into every part of life. For couples, this means learning how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and strengthen intimacy. For families, it means fostering unity, understanding, and resilience so that each member feels supported. For individuals, it means understanding how their family or relational history has shaped their story and finding freedom to rewrite it in healthier ways.

Angel’s professional journey includes years of mentoring adolescents, coaching cheerleading, and leading empowerment groups for young women, all of which sharpened her ability to inspire confidence and guide others through challenging transitions. She has additional training in developmental psychology, play therapy, and trauma-informed care, equipping her to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client.

Her counseling stance is rooted in acceptance, love, and cultural sensitivity. She believes every client deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can show up authentically and feel truly seen. Clients describe her as approachable, warm, and insightful—qualities that help foster trust and meaningful progress.

Angel’s work is built on the belief that when couples and families thrive, individuals flourish, and stronger communities emerge. If you are seeking a therapist who will not only listen with empathy but also help you uncover deeper patterns, develop healthier relationships, and create lasting change, Angel offers the expertise and care to help you move forward with hope and resilience.

Angel is under the supervision of Kentaya Neily, MS, LPC,CPCS.
