About Me
Ceria earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015 from the University of Phoenix. She immediately pursued her Master of Science in Professional Counseling in 2018 from Grand Canyon University, graduating in 2018. She worked in private practice as a master’s level counselor gaining valuable clinical experience from 2018 – 2021. In 2019, Ceria began serving as a Mental Health and Wellness Coach at Headspace, Inc (formally Ginger.io) and Game Changer Coaching/Counseling Services, LLC. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices and informed by a strong understanding of human behavior, emotional regulation, and relational dynamics.
Ceria works with adults, couples, and families presenting with concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relationship distress, life transitions, grief, and difficulties with identity and self-concept. She also has experience supporting individuals navigating high-conflict relationships, separation, and adjustment-related stressors.
Ceria’s approach to treatment is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and person-centered frameworks. She focuses on helping clients increase self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and improve interpersonal functioning. Ceria emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, structured therapeutic environment where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful behavioral and emotional change. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care and maintaining ethical, client-centered practice. Her goal is to support clients in building resilience, strengthening emotional well-being, and achieving sustainable growth. Ceria is under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Slaughter Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS
