About Me
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Mercer University in Psychology (minor in Women’s Studies) and a Master of Science from Georgia State University in Professional Counseling. She has experience working with adolescents and adults at varying levels of care (inpatient, residential, etc.) on issues such as eating disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and codependency. Lauren uses a variety of theoretical approaches with clients, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (also Radically Open-DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Lauren also provides supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns.
